Erwin Wurm

"I am interested in the everyday life. All the materials that surrounded me could be useful, as well as the objects, topics involved in contemporary society. My work speaks about the whole entity of a human being: the physical, the spiritual, the psychological and the political."

Erwin Wurm, The Artist Who Swallowed the World, 2006

Erwin Wurm was a special guest in the Reflex group show In Times of Plenty in 2018 and has collaborated with the gallery on several public sculpture and private property projects in the Netherlands.

Erwin Wurm's work is centered around the unexpected, unconventional, and at times absurd use of everyday objects.
