Rosson Crow

Day-glo-camelot

Painting from her LA studio, Rosson Crow's characteristically colourful, fluorescent work is often based on historic references, both personal and collective in nature.

The themes Crow (*1982, Dallas TX, USA) explores in her work range from a woman's role in the art historic canon over gendered spaces to America's influence on global culture. Crow's paintings offer us a tongue in cheek take on these serious topics, embellishing her paintings with humorous titles.

Stay tuned for Crow's first solo show in the Netherlands in Spring 2020.
